RESTAURANT WEEK GRAND RAPIDS 2018 Begins in One Week
August 8 – 19, 2018
Over 75 Restaurants will participate in the 12-Day Annual Culinary Event
GRAND RAPIDS, MI (August 2, 2018) – Restaurant Week Grand Rapids (RWGR) will begin in one week – 12-Days of unique and creative offers from over 75 different Greater Grand Rapids popular restaurants.

When: Restaurant Week GR starts in one week from Wednesday, August 8 - Sunday, August 19
Why: The idea behind Restaurant Week Grand Rapids, which is in its 9th year is to introduce the public to all of the great dining out experiences and restaurants that they have wanted to try with a special menu that offers a great price point.
What: Each restaurant has been given the opportunity to offer one or more of the following options for this year’s event:
- Two courses for $15 per person (available lunch and dinner)
- Two courses for $25 per person (dinner)
- Chef’s Choice for over $25 per person (dinner)
The idea behind the new options was based on customer and restaurant staff feedback and to serve the interests of summer dining patrons. During some evenings diners asked for more casual summer options, as well as, a variety of multi-course options. The three options allow diners more opportunity for frequent dining out throughout the event.
Where: All of the restaurants participating and their special RWGR menus are available for viewing at RestaurantWeekGR.com. Reservations are recommended at the restaurants that offer reservations.
What Else:
RWGR not only promotes the Greater Grand Rapids culinary scene but has also provided over $143,000 to students through an endowed scholarship fund at the Grand Rapids Community College Secchia Institute for Culinary Education. Participating locations each donate $1 for every Restaurant Week GR meal sold at their establishment.
Restaurant Week GR diners are encouraged to share their #RWGR meals on Instagram. Those people who submit impressive food photographs of their dining out experiences could be selected to win gift cards from participating restaurants and may be featured in an Experience Grand Rapids blog post.
