Join Long Road Distillers and Grand Rapids' very own Mayor Bliss in this time honored tradition of coming together to savor artfully crafted spirits made right here in the heart of the city's West Side. Lunafest GR 2020. Join Girls on the Run for a free evening of short films created by, for, and about women. These specially curated films, intended for an audience of 14 years and older, tackle issues such as motherhood, gender identity, recovering from sexual abuse, and coming-of-age in a "global" social world. Films range from animation to drama to comedy, and there will be a discussion panel to help unpack the themes of each of the films. Wealthy Theatre. 5-9 pm. Click here for more information.

SOLD OUT: Motu Viget Spirits "HerStory" Brunch & Cocktails. The “HerStory” brunch will include 5 signature specialty Motu cocktails and delicious eateries. Join the Grand Rapids Chamber and Downtown Grand Rapids, Inc. for the ATHENA Legacy Tour!.Led by the Greater Grand Rapids Women's History Council, this bus tour will explore the inclusive past of the women who built Grand Rapids and celebrate the centennial of the Nineteenth Amendment in 2020. She Who Owns the Gold. "She Who Owns the Gold" is a women's empowerment brunch being hosted during Women's History Month to focus on how we go about building a life we are passionate about. Join for brunch, mimosas, dope vibes, and discussion with a panel of women who have built the lives they dreamed about. The Salute to Women Award celebrates the accomplishments of GRCC stakeholders who exemplify high achievement in community service, leadership, and student engagement.
