GRAND RAPIDS, MI: CREW West Michigan is ready to host hosts its first gala-style event, focusing on heart health, on February 24th, 2022 at the Bridgewater Place. This event rounds out the organization’s February focus on women’s health.

In addition to February being Heart Health Month, heart disease is the number one killer of women. Knowing the signs and symptoms of heart disease can mean adding years to your life. Several members of CREW West Michigan have had personal experiences with heart disease, they and will be sharing their personal stories during the evening event. Doris Drain, CREW West Michigan Board President, shared “we are so excited to host this inaugural event that brings awareness to an issue that affects so many lives.”

This inaugural event, Heart of the City, is open to the public and tickets may be purchased online at crewwm.org/events. Ticket price is $100 per person and includes food, beer, wine, and a signature cocktail. Features of the event are a wine pull, bourbon tasting, photo booth, and cigar rolling. 

The event proceeds will benefit the American Heart Society of West Michigan, and the CREW Foundation, the only organization dedicating its resources solely towards transforming the commercial real estate industry by advancing women globally.

CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) West Michigan is part of a global organization, CREW Network, that focuses on empowering women across multiple disciplines within the commercial real estate industry. The global organization was founded in 1989 and has about 12,000 members around the globe.
