KCDP Celebrates Women's History Month and Honors Lynda Hoving. Join the Kent County Democratic Party to celebrate women's history month. Senator Winnie Brinks and Immigration Lawyer Hillary Scholten will join the KCDP to reflect on the importance of the Democratic Party in advancing women's civil rights. Lunafest GR 2020. Join Girls on the Run for a free evening of short films created by, for, and about women. These specially curated films, intended for an audience of 14 years and older, tackle issues such as motherhood, gender identity, recovering from sexual abuse, and coming-of-age in a "global" social world. She Who Owns the Gold. "She Who Owns the Gold" is a women's empowerment brunch being hosted during Women's History Month to focus on how we go about building a life we are passionate about. Join for brunch, mimosas, dope vibes, and discussion with a panel of women who have built the lives they dreamed about.
