The Big Brother Big Sister

Big Brothers Big Sisters is one of D.A. Blodgett- St. John’s mentoring opportunities. Currently, there are roughly 250 children waiting for a Big Brother or Big Sister mentor.

The Health Buff

Help people learn more about their health. Volunteers are needed to lead Diabetes self-management classes. No experience necessary. Free training provided through Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan. Volunteers must attend four days of training.

The Resume Assistant

Assist women by helping them create a resume that showcases their skills and talents at the Women’s Resource Center. This service is offered on a drop in basis during posted times.

The GED Tutor

Work one on one with students on assigned curriculum, help distribute and put away supplies, and encourage an atmosphere that is respectful and edifying as a GED Tutor at Heartside Ministries.
