United Bank of Michigan conducted an official ribbon-cutting ceremony today to celebrate the opening of its new branch office in Jenison. The location of the 4,000-square-foot branch is 1884 Baldwin Street. It is United Bank’s 12th branch – all in the West Michigan area.
The Jenison office provides a fresh, new banking experience with an open, inviting space – equipped with the latest technology to support the level of personal service that has always set United Bank apart.
“The Jenison branch got off to a great start today,” said Art Johnson, Chairman of United Bank. “Community leaders, customers and members of our United Bank family gave us a great turnout today, and I think it showed that any thriving community will welcome a new local financial institution that puts individuals and businesses first.”
United Bank of Michigan has been locally owned and operated since its founding in 1887. Art Johnson was pleased to say that the goal of operating within our community extended to the selection of the contractors on the project. The bank’s partner and design leader on the Jenison project was Progressive AE.
“We’re excited to have Terri Prince leading our Jenison team,” Johnson said. “Her warmth, kindness and professionalism are a perfect fit. Because customer service is always priority one – and that’s especially true when coming to a new community like Jenison – we want to make sure we meet the community’s high standards. Terri is the ideal person to make sure that happens.”
