Robinette’s Releases New Wines: Royal Raspberry Spumante and Bill’s Special Hard Cider

vickiup July 27, 2012 2

(Press Release) – Robinette’s Apple Haus and Winery is excited to announce the release of 2 new wines: Royal Raspberry Spumante, and Bill’s Special Hard Cider.  Robinette’s opened their winery in 2006 with just a few different wines and ciders, and now with the new releases their product list has reached a high of 21 wines, ciders, and meads—a huge growth in a mere 6 years.

Robinette’s is excited about these two new, unique releases. Royal Raspberry will be the first raspberry based wine Robinette’s has carried—a sparkling wine with a rich and full raspberry taste that has the perfect natural sweetness to it. Bill’s Special, named after our winemaker, Bill Robinette, is also a unique and exciting new product in that it is the first sweetened addition to our hard cider line. Bill’s Special is a lightly sweetened sparking cider, made from a base of our famous Robinette’s apple cider.

To celebrate these new releases, Robinette’s will be hosting a Wine Release party on Saturday, August 4th, from 12p.m. to 5p.m. The event will include free wine tasting on ALL of our wines, a free souvenir Robinette’s wine glass, refreshments, door prizes, and LIVE music.

Robinettes is located at 3142 4 Mile Rd NE in Grand Rapids.

Founded in 1911, Robinette’s is a 5th generation, 125-acre year-round agricultural destination in northern Kent County – celebrating its Centennial in 2011. In addition to the orchard and winery, Robinette’s offers a cider mill, farm market, drawn wagon rides, mountain biking trail, bakery and full lunch menu. The 1800s Gift Barn features made in Michigan products, such as food items and fine art, as well as holiday decorations and custom-packaged gift boxes.

Robinette’s holds memberships in the Michigan Apple Committee, Michigan Cider Makers Guild, Michigan State Horticultural Society, Kent Harvest Trails, Great Lakes Cider & Perry Association, Local First and West Michigan Tourist Association.
