PRESS RELEASE —Resilience: Advocates for Ending Violence proudly announces the 17th annual “Le Style de Vie” fundraiser held in downtown Holland behind Butch’s Dry Dock (44 E. 8th Street). More than 120 international wines, local craft brews, and a fabulous fashion show will come together to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

This annual event is hosted by Studio K Clothing Company, Butch’s Dry Dock, and GLOBE Design & Vision. We invite the local community to join us on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 5pm-8pm. Tickets are $55/person, with proceeds benefitting Resilience and the work being done to respond to and prevent domestic and sexual violence in Ottawa and Allegan counties. Ticket price includes appetizers, and wine and beer tastings. The event also features the ever-popular corkscrew raffle, with prizes from Studio K, GLOBE, and more.

Owner of Globe Design and Vision, Bob Schulze, stated “What we as local business people realized years ago, is how vital the Resilience program is to our community. Very few know how effective the organization is and we have chosen gatherings like this to help spread the word.”

Resilience, formerly known as Center for Women in Transition, provides supportive and crisis services to more than 3,000 women, men and children each year. Services include emergency shelter, therapy, support groups, supportive housing, legal advocacy, and more.

Thanks to our generous event sponsors: Gentex, Dri-Design, Holland Ready Roofing, JKlemm Contracting, T2 Construction Management, LLC., Global Concepts Enterprise, Inc., Eikenhout, DeNooyer Chevrolet, Padnos, and Lake Michigan Credit Union.
