Ruthie thinks, dreams, and loves in two languages: English and Spanish. Although her mother’s homeland of Mexico is far in distance, Ruthie embraces the culture and language of her Mexican heritage. Trips to visit extended family members in Torreón Coahuila, México have been commonplace for Ruthie since childhood. Ruthie’s bilingualism and desire to serve the Hispanic community have always been the driving force in choosing a career, mainly with non-profit organizations.
In her early 20′s, Ruthie modeled professionally in Milan Italy, as well as in Nice France. Ruthie still enjoys working with local photographers in creating images derived from day dreams and fantasies. On said photo shoots, Ruthie enjoys styling the wardrobe in addition to performing her own make-up artistry. Other past-times include tango dancing and sunflower-raising. Ruthie is an admirer of Frida Kahlo’s life journey and artwork.
