Maranda’s Park Parties. WOTV4’s Maranda and the Park Party team hit up a local park and throw a rockin’ party with food, games, activities and prizes that bring summer fun to the whole family. Noon to 2 p.m. Park Party schedule at wotv4women.com.

Airport Viewing Park
Open daily from dawn to dusk during the summer months, the airport viewing park at Gerald R. Ford Internatinoal Airport is furnished with picnic tables and litter barrels for visitors to enjoy as they watch aircrafts land and take off. Tune your car radio to 1650 AM to listen to air traffic controllers, pilots and GFIAA airfield operations staff as the direct air traffic into and out of GRR.

Tour the Meyer May House
The Meyer May House at 450 Madison SE, 49503, provides a rare opportunity to experience a house exactly as Frank Lloyd Wright intended, complete with Wright-designed furnishings. There is no charge to tour the house. Allow an hour and a half to enjoy the complete experience, which includes viewing a film, The Renewing of a Vision. Sundays 1-4 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10 am to 1 pm (closed holidays). Please make reservations for groups 10 or more by (616) 246-4821. Street parking available on Logan or Madison.
