Trunk Show and Bead Class with Heather Powers at Bead Quest

With a few simple techniques you can create one-of-kind pieces of jewelry that fits your style and wardrobe perfectly.  Join Heather Powers at Bead Quest on Saturday, February 11, at 1 p.m. for an afternoon of beaded inspiration. The Bead Quest team will be hand to help shoppers find the perfect beads and tools to bring their creations to life while Heather displays her handcrafted beads to add pizzazz to those designs.

Heather is a Kendall College of Art & Design graduate that has recently returned to Grand Rapids after living in San Antonio, TX  for ten years. During that time Heather created a bead empire that includes a thriving business of handcrafted clay beads, a social media force with her nationally known blog, the Art Bead Scene and events like bead retreats and her annual Bead Cruise. Heather’s first book, Jewelry Designs from Nature, hit the bookshelves last September and she has been busy traveling and teaching ever since.

Heather returns to Bead Quest on February 11 to show off her latest collection and best-selling designs.  Along with the trunk show, Heather is teaching a bracelet class that is perfect for all skill levels. Check out Bead Quest’s website for complete details and register for the class. www.beadquest.com

Make Your Own Adoring Heart Pendant Class

Also on February 11, Carrie Cruce is teaching an Adoring Heart Pendant class for advanced beginners at Bead Quest. A lovely Sterling Silver wrapped heart pendant would be the perfect gift for someone special or maybe just for you.  Wire wrap your favorite colored beads into the pendant or think how special it would be if family birthstone colors were added to this elegant pendant. Register for the Adoring Heart Pendant class at http://www.beadquest.com/products-page/projects/adoring-heart-pendant
