Gone are the days where two-in-one hair and body washes were solely for the dudes. In-Shower Body Lotion + Self-Tanner
Leave it all in the shower this summer with a body lotion and self-tanner that you can rinse off before you head out into the world with your glowing, moisturized skin. Simply let it sit on your skin for approximately three minutes, rinse it off and then dazzle the masses all day without the sticky feeling of lotion or the distinct odor of a self-tanner.
Oil: Cleanser + Moisturizer
Prepare to glow! This rejuvenating method will wipe away all traces of makeup and have your skin thanking you for the extra hydrating love. Massage your oil of choice onto your face for a minute and rinse off with warm water. Add a washcloth if need be or use a dry towel to wipe off the remaining oil. Slather a coat of the oil on your face for a nighttime moisturizer or use it for the day if you choose a light oil and have 30 minutes to spare to let your skin soak it in. Some of the favorite oil options? Olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil and hemp seed oil.
Daily hair washers, rejoice! Cleansing conditioner gives you the best of both worlds — clean hair without the extra damage that daily (and sometimes unnecessary) shampooing can cause. Experiment with different brands and find a formula that is right for your locks. For best results, use a larger amount of product to clean your locks. Use half of the amount to to wash your hair, then rinse. Apply the rest of the cleansing conditioner to your hair and leave in for a few minutes before rinsing again. If your hair is new to the idea of conditioner in the roots, give it some time to adjust. In the meantime, keep some dry shampoo nearby.
For hair that errs on the side of greasy or for any hair type searching to achieve a beachy, wavy and still healthy look, conditioning shampoo could be the answer. Lather up and leave the formula on your mane for the remainder of your shower before rinsing off. Skip the conditioner and enjoy clean, voluminous locks that give a beautiful and carefree look.
